Heritage Writers
Heritage Writers' provide the most "current" content on the web site. We're recruiting local Heritage Writers to keep the public informed about local heritage happenings, share memories & stories about their area. Our goal is to have at least one heritage writer in every county. Currently, we are using a simple, free weblog system - we can offer you direct access to your blog or post your entries for you. Anyone is welcome to apply to become an American Guide writer! Exercise your writing talents, network around town, maybe even begin your writing career right here!
American Guides - our founder's personal blog - for updates on the Project, our partners, friends and interesting people, places and other stuff we learn along the way...
Bob Coulson - A well-known local author and curator of the town historical museum in Arriba, CO, Bob offers warmly humorous essays, including selections from his latest book, Are You Ready For This?
Flagler Memories - selections from our friend, Lyle Stone in Flagler, CO - Lyle is a leader of the Flagler Historical Society, and often offers visitors personal tours of the Central School Museum, one of the two museums in this historic town.
Heritage Writers are volunteer positions - we do not offer a salary, wages or any payment for your blog's content, but copyright will be observed.
Benefits:
You can submit blog entries directly, or by email, or even send us physical mailings.
